The frame is reinforced hardwood with a stated lifetime warranty, and the velvet is marketed as pet-friendly and easy to lint-roll. The trade-off is cleaning: the covers do not come off, so it is a wipe-clean-only sofa, and the sit is firmer than a boneless cloud couch.
